The ability to monitor the condition of your diesel engine, particularly through the assessment of the diesel particulate filter (DPF), is essential for maintaining optimal vehicle performance. This application provides a comprehensive overview of DPF clogging levels and regeneration history, allowing users to quickly ascertain whether the filter is currently in the regeneration process.

In contemporary diesel engines, various faults can significantly affect the state of the DPF. Issues such as faulty injectors, cylinder compression problems, blow-by circuit malfunctions, and worn engine seals can all contribute to DPF degradation. By overseeing the DPF's status, users gain valuable insights into overall vehicle health and performance metrics. To utilize this application, an ELM327 Bluetooth or WiFi diagnostic interface is required, which must be connected to the OBD connector within your vehicle. For effective DPF data retrieval, it is necessary to ensure that the interface supports the ISO 14230-4 KPW protocol (fast initialization at 10.4K baud). Recommended interfaces include Vgate iCar, OBDLink, and Konnwei Bluetooth/WiFi devices.

<li>Mileage at last oil change</li>
<li>Distance since last oil change</li>
<li>Engine oil degradation level</li>
</ul>
